據報導，為了保障比賽安全，法國各地提前部署了約22,000名警察，其中巴黎就部署了8,000名。巴黎的電車線路暫停運營，多個地鐵站關閉，部分地區的公交車也暫停運行。
比賽結束後，狂歡者在巴黎街頭與警方發生衝突，多名警察受傷，警方在巴黎市中心發射催淚瓦斯驅散人群。
警方稱，在巴黎聖日耳曼隊的主場王子公園球場附近，一家麵包店和一家餐廳遭到破壞。當時，數萬名球迷聚集在球場內觀看比賽，但仍有四、五千人在球場外徘徊，並向警察投擲雜物。
警方發言人稱，約有150人試圖從體育場的一個入口進入，被警方驅離。一些人把出租自行車放在道路中間點燃，設置路障，也被警方清除。騷亂期間有六輛汽車、兩家商店和一個公車候車亭遭到破壞。
法國內政部表示，週日凌晨，共有416人被捕，巴黎有280人被拘留。內政部長洛朗‧努涅斯表示，騷亂期間有7名警官受傷，並稱騷亂「絕對不可接受」。
去年，巴黎聖日耳曼的歐洲盃奪冠之旅也引發衝突事件，導致兩人死亡，其中包括一名17歲的男孩。
巴黎街頭這些騷亂場景，激怒了法國右翼國民聯盟領袖瑪麗娜‧勒龐，曾三次競選法國總統的瑪麗娜在X上寫道：「只有在法國，足球俱樂部的勝利才會引發騷亂。」
她補充說：「只有在法國，人們才會覺得有必要在勝利之夜把自己鎖在家裡，以避免遭遇暴力。」
