Trump Warns of Massive Strike on Iran as US Prepares Military Action
According to Reuters, U.S. President Donald Trump warned on Wednesday, June 10 that if a peaceful agreement cannot be reached with Iran, the United States will launch a massive military strike against the country. U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth subsequently stated that the U.S. military would bomb key Iranian facilities later that day.
Speaking to reporters at the White House on Wednesday, Trump said the United States was on the verge of taking military action.
“We’re going to be attacking them – attacking them very hard,” Trump said, adding that the operation would begin later on Wednesday.
The remarks represent the latest strong warning issued by the Trump administration amid nearly two months of escalating tensions between the United States and Iran.
Responding to Trump’s comments, Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security Committee, said that if war were to break out, its impact would not be confined to the Middle East.
We're not afraid of fighting losers. The number of American casualties is already far higher than Trump confirms, and it will rise. This time, the war won't be limited to the region. We'll see what happens!— ابراهیم عزیزی (@Ebrahimazizi33) June 10, 2026
